MV Senior Wins Knox County Franklin B. Walter All Scholastic Award

Each year the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) recognizes a student from each county across the state. Students are selected for their academic achievements, personal accomplishments, as well as community service. Mount Vernon High School’s Elizabeth Clarkson has been recognized as the student exemplifying this award from Knox County. Elizabeth will be recognized in a ceremony later in April and we want to take this opportunity to congratulate her on this wonderful accomplishment!
The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award was established in 1989 by Ohio’s County Superintendents to recognize student achievement and promote academic accomplishment. One senior from each of Ohio’s eighty-eight counties receives this prestigious honor each year.
