Offenses

March 24
A complainant reported that someone damaged a window on a residence he owns located on North Adams Street. The complainant said the incident occurred between Friday, 3/19/2021, and Monday, 3/22/2021. There was visible damage to a window located on the east side of the residence. No suspects at this time any new information will be supplemented.

A complainant reported that someone gained entry into her garage located behind her residence. the complainant’s residence is located on East Vine Street. Nothing further to report any new information will be supplemented.

Officers responded to an address on North Mulberry Street on a report of a disturbance. A report was filed.

An officer was dispatched to Meadow View Apartments on Follin Avenue for a stolen package. An investigation is pending.

 

March 25
An officer was patrolling the 500 block of East Vine Street and observed Tara L. Huff. The officer made contact with Huff and asked dispatch to check for her warrants through LEADS. Dispatch advised that Huff had a warrant out of Delaware County. Huff was secured in handcuffs, in the front position, gapped appropriately, and double-locked. Huff was searched and transported to the Knox and Delaware County line. Huff was transferred over to a Delaware County Deputy.

March 26
Officers responded to an East Vine Street apartment for a noise complaint. Ashley Doyle was arrested on an outstanding warrant and incarcerated at the Knox County Jail.

An officer made contact with a complainant that handed over property found in the cemetery. The items located: black zipper bag, cut pink straw, a small bag containing crystal shards, and three hypodermic needles. The hypodermic needles were placed into a sharps container in cruiser 6 and the other items were placed into the Mount Vernon Police Department’s evidence room.

March 27
Units responded to the area of South Gay Street in reference to a violation of a protection order. Upon coming into the area, an officer flagged down by a witness who stated that the suspect ran westbound. The officer was able to make contact with the suspect, Jared Farabaugh, on West Vine Street near South Mulberry Street. Farabaugh was taken into custody and transported to the Knox County Jail where custody was turned over to the jail staff.

Shealyn L. Stoddard was cited for driving under OVI and driving under OVI – at least .08 but less than .17 of alcohol per 210

March 27
Joseph R. Heins II was arrested on an outstanding warrant

Jennifer J. Naillon was cited for driving under an FRA suspension
Michael Touponce was cited for driving under OVI suspension
Karley N. Halloran was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead
Patty Groseclose-Kuntz was cited for driving under an FRA suspension
Abigail Hubbell was charged with domestic violence
Lexie Hubbell was charged with domestic violence
