Joseph Smith age 44 of Brinkhaven was issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension stemming from a Feb. 18 traffic stop. During the traffic stop, stolen items were recovered from Smith’s vehicle. Smith will also be charged with criminal charges of receiving stolen property
• K-9 unit assisted the Mount Vernon police by conducting a sweep of a vehicle to detect the presence of illegal drugs/contraband w/negative hit – Sandusky Street
