Timothy Branson Carper, 23, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced Thursday in Knox County Common Pleas Court on two felony drug offenses. He was sentenced to a term of three to four and a half years in the first case for selling a bulk amount of methamphetamine to a police informant in the vicinity of St. Vincent de Paul School in January 2020. In the second case, he was sentenced to 24 months for possession of a bulk amount of drugs in Ariel-Foundation Park in October 2020. The judge ordered the sentences to be served consecutively to one another. Carper has pending charges in another county left to be resolved.
