February 17
The Centerburg High School principal turned in four vaping devices. They were booked into evidence for destruction.
February 18
A deputy was dispatched to a juvenile that was in an altercation with his stepmother. The caller stated that the juvenile attempted to hit her but did not make contact. The caller stated that the juvenile did leave on foot. The juvenile was located and brought back to the home.
A complainant went to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to file a report in regards to attempted fraud. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf.
A complainant advised that someone opened a bank account using their social security number and wanted the incident documented.
A deputy was dispatched to the area near Campbell’s Firing Range on Coshocton Road, due to an injured deer lying in the roadway. The deputy was able to locate the deer and dispatched the animal with his office-issued sidearm A report was written.
A deputy was patrolling Millersburg Road and located an injured deer in the roadway. The deputy dispatched the deer and a report was taken.
Deputies responded to a residential fire on Carson Road due to a wood-burning stove overheating. All occupants inside were evacuated safely and the Fredericktown Fire Department contained the scene.
A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office in reference to her son threatening to harm himself. Officers responded and the son was taken to Knox Community Hospital for a mental health evaluation. A report was made for documentation.
A complainant went to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to file a complainant of a road rage incident.
