February 3
A complainant advised that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.

February 4
A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office in reference to her 13-year-old son acting out and getting physically violent with her The juvenile was taken into custody per the juvenile prosecutor and taken to the Muskingum County Juvenile Detention Center.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office stating that her hunting blind, crossbow, and arrows were stolen from her property.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report a theft/fraud. A report was taken and an investigation was started.

February 5
A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and advised that she could hear her dad and his girlfriend arguing downstairs. The complainant advised she heard a loud bang and couldn’t hear anything else at the time. Deputies responded to the scene and spoke to the complainant’s dad. He stated that he was in a verbal argument with his girlfriend and she left the residence highly intoxicated. Deputies looked for the female but were unable to locate her.

A deputy was dispatched on a fraud call on Columbus Road. The caller stated that she received a call from a lady from out of state claiming that she received a check from a person in Florida that was hiring her to be a home health aid. The person receiving the check felt it was suspicious that the check was mailed from Florida on a business check from Ohio.
