January 28
A complainant advised that the non-offense victim attempted to take her own life by overdosing on medication. The non-offense victim was taken to Knox Community Hospital without incident by Eastern Knox County Joint Fire District.

Kenyon Campus Safety called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that drugs and paraphernalia were found on campus and requested a deputy to pick them up. Deputies responded and the times were collected for destruction.

A caller reported a fraudulent unemployment claim in their name. Information was taken and a report was written for documentation.

A caller reported an unemployment claim was filed in her name along with a Visa debit card. Information was taken and a report was written for documentation.

January 29
Deputies were dispatched to the Harcourt Hotel on a male causing a disturbance. Contact was made and EMS personnel was dispatched to check his vitals. The male was pink-slipped to Knox Community Hospital for a mental evaluation.

A female victim arrived at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to file a report of domestic violence. Photographs and a statement were collected. A report was filed and sent to the City Law Director’s Office for review.
