Deputies responded to the area of Pittsburgh Avenue for a theft. The complainant advised that his storage unit was broken into and unknown items were taken and broken. An investigation in pending.

A Knox County resident contacted dispatch about a stolen identity. A report was taken as requested.

A Knox County resident was contacted by her employer by e-mail telling them that their social security number had been stolen from the employer’s computer system. The resident had also received a letter by mail from Ohio Job and Family Services advising that their unemployment request had been approved. A report was taken over the phone.

A complainant called to report that she needed to file a report on a narcotic cough syrup that had some of its contents missing.

A complainant reported that sometime overnight, person(s) unknown caused damage to ta decorative cremation bench. A report was taken.

A complainant advised that he was notified by his employer that he had filed for unemployment.

A complainant stated that an unknown person(s) removed her daughter’s medication from the residence at some point between January 9, 2021, and January 11, 2021.
