Unauthorized use of a vehicle – 400 block of South Market Street

Jan. 3
Report of nails on the roadway – South Market Street and Rambo Street

Jan. 5
Assisted a sheriff’s deputy re auto accident – West Main Street and Richards Street
Upon observing a suspicious vehicle on Richards Street, a traffic stop was made and during the traffic stop various illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia were discovered. The report will be forwarded to the County Prosecutor for appropriate criminal charges to be filed
Assisted Danville EMT’s – Middle Street
Isa J. Thomas age 45 of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension

Suspicious person – 200 block of East Washington Street
Conducted a K-9 sweep of a vehicle to detect the presence of illegal drugs/contraband w/positive hit – 200 block of East Walnut Street
Brian Baker age 37 of Butler was issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension and an additional citation for possession of marijuana
Assisted a Mount Vernon police officer by conducting a K-9 sweep of a vehicle to detect the presence of illegal drugs/contraband w/negative hit – Walmart parking lot, Coshocton Road
