January 4
A Complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office stating that he was behind a vehicle that was driving all over the roads. The complainant stated that the driver was an older lady and that he was able to speak with the driver and she seemed disoriented. Deputies were able to make contact with the driver and the deputies were able to arrange a ride for her back to Mansfield.
Deputies responded to a care facility in Clinton Township. A resident there had become violent with staff. Mount Vernon EMS was dispatched and transported the resident to Knox Community Hospital. The resident was pink-slipped for evaluation.
Deputies spoke with a Centerburg resident by phone about the theft of his Rumpke trash can. A report was taken.
January 5
Deputies responded to a possible suicide attempt. The person was transported to the hospital by medics. A report was filed.
