A Deputy located a vehicle in the parking lot of the North Liberty Methodist Church located on North Liberty Road. Contact was made with the driver and the driver was found to be under the influence. The vehicle had heavy damage to the entire right side that appeared to be from a recent vehicle crash. The driver, Jerry V Friend, was arrested for physical control, and the vehicle was impounded at Elliston’s.
