December 11
A Complainant reported a prowler near her residence. She advised that she heard loud noises outside her residence. Deputies responded and located an open door on the shed outside. Advice was given and a report was completed for documentation.

A Deputy was dispatched to Royal Circle in Apple Valley on a report of a disturbance, where a male resident was destroying the house and causing unrest to the other residents of the home. The male, Jacob A Middleton, was arrested for domestic violence and menacing. Middleton was transported to the Knox County Jail.

A Complainant reported that person(s) unknown had used their credit card number and made a purchase in another state. A report was taken.

A victim went to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to file a report about a domestic violence incident that occurred between them and their spouse Joel French was located later, arrested, and charged with domestic violence.

 

December 12
A Complainant reported that she found an abandoned bike on the Kokosing Gap Bike Trail. The bike was collected until the owner could be found.

A Complainant advised that her brother was intoxicated and causing a scene. Deputies responded and spoke to all parties involved. All parties declined to write statements and nobody wanted any charges. The deputies warned the suspect about his conduct prior to them leaving the scene.

 

December 13
A Deputy was driving on Coshocton Road when he observed a vehicle that hit a deer. He spoke with the driver who stated that she did not need a report. The deer was still alive so the deputy dispatched it with one bullet.

A Deputy was dispatched to Ankenytown Road on a report of a burglary. The residents reported they came home and found their door open, then went inside to find that money was taken from their bedrooms. No forced entry was found.

A victim called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that her prescription medication is missing from her home. A report was filed to document the incident.
