Our daytime crew is out testing the new dry hydrant that was recently installed on Gregg Road in Berlin Township.
As only 2-percent of our 118 square mile fire district is protected by hydrants within the Village of Fredericktown, we rely heavily on sources such as this one. Dry hydrants are strategically places throughout the fire district for our use, and the use of mutual-aid companies coming to assist us on incidents.
