KCCC Annual Food for the Hungy Competition

 

 

KCCC Annual Food for the Hungry Competition took place this week. KCCC brought in $3,800.67 cash and 1,084 physical cans/food items. The total, when adding those two together, is 16,286.68 cans of food!!! The competition ran from December 1st – 9th. Competition category winners are:

Lab that brought in the most items overall: Automotive Technology (6,306.68). Automotive Technology students earned money for Food for the Hungry by offering a tire rotation, alignment, and car wash for $50.
Lab that brought in the most physical food items: Landscape Design & Management (505).
Lab that averaged the highest number of items per person in the lab: Collision Repair (190). Collision Repair students earned money for Food for the Hungry by detailing vehicles inside and out along with a car wash for $60.
