Hundreds of Fredericktown residents know Irl Ruhl, as he has lived in the Village for most of his life and he worked for the Village for more than twenty years. Irl plowed snow, repaired water mains, attended to sewer back-ups and such, read meters, filled potholes, and much, much more. Irl has a way of becoming a true friend of virtually everyone he comes in contact with.
Last night, Mayor Day and Village Council presented Irl with a proclamation and a key to the Village. Irl is enjoying retirement with his wife, Carolyn, and they reside in their newly built home here in Fredericktown. Congratulations on retirement, Irl. Well done!
