The Mount Vernon Municipal Court is accepting applications for Deputy Clerk, a full-time position with full benefits. The Deputy Clerk shall provide exceptional customer service, assisting the public in person and over the phone. The Deputy Clerk is responsible for entering criminal and traffic complaints within the Court’s case management system, receipting payments, processing incoming mail, scanning and docketing pleadings, and all other duties as assigned by the Clerk of Court. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
