Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Oct 27, 2020

A Complainant advised that her father had received a Facebook message, directed for her, from a previously blocked individual. The complainant advised that there was a long history of harassment. A report was made and the investigation is pending on October 27th, 2020.
A Complainant called 911 and advised that her ex-boyfriend showed up at her house uninvited after being warned by law enforcement to cease contact with the complainant. Along with other evidence of recent, repeated, and unwanted contact at the complainant’s place of employment, resident and by phone, Justin Bennett, of Mount Vernon, was arrested for menacing by stalking on October 27th, 2020.
A Complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an individual making suicidal comments. The individual was taken to Knox Community Hospital for an evaluation and a report was made to document the incident on October 26th, 2020.
