Fawcett Ordered to Forfeit Drug Proceeds, Firearms

Kevin Fawcett, 45, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced Friday to three additional mandatory years in prison after a forfeiture hearing on a 2018 drug trafficking case. Fawcett is already serving a five-year mandatory sentence in another Knox County drug case. Judge Richard Wetzel ordered Fawcett to forfeit $3,342 to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office as well as three handguns found in his vehicle when he was arrested. The case was investigated by KCSO Det. Terry Wolfe with assistance from Sgt. Dan Selby and MVPD Ptl. Sarah Wheeler and K9 Laya.
