MOUNT VERNON – While all utility bills were mailed on the first of the month as usual it has come to our attention that many customers have yet to receive their bills. For that reason, late payment penalties will be waived for the month of October.
We encourage customers to sign-up for electronic billing or Auto Pay. Customers can register for Auto Pay by calling the water office at 740-393-9504. Customers can have bills sent by email; 1) by writing their email address on their bill, 2) by emailing their request for electronic bills directly to the water office at waterclk4@mountvernonohio.org or 3) by calling the Water Billing Office.
