October Marks Beginning of Wildfire Season in Ohio

A reminder from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry – October marks the beginning of wildfire season in Ohio due to the drying leaves, grass, and windy conditions. During the months of October and November, Ohio Revised Code prohibits most burning from 6 AM – 6 PM (the hottest and driest part of the day).

You can do your part to help prevent wildfires by learning more about Ohio’s burn laws. For more info, head to https://ohiodnr.gov/…/fore…/wildfire-prevention/01-open-burn#staysafeoutdoors
