Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Sep 08, 2020

During the severe storm on September 7th, 2020, an individual was trying to seek shelter at the Knox County Humane Shelter and broke a basement window but did not enter the building. Contact was made with the Humane Shelter President and a Deputy handled the situation. The individual who broke the window advised that he would pay for the damages. A report was written to document the incident.
Deputies responded to Dollar General on Coshocton Avenue for a report of drugs being found. Suspected narcotics were collected and placed into evidence on September 7th, 2020.
A Deputy was dispatched to a complaint of a male that had accidentally shot himself in the leg. A report was taken on September 7th, 2020.
A Complainant wanted a report that she was missing a firearm from her residence on September 7th, 2020.
Joshua Stulka was arrested domestic violence and transported to the Knox County Jail on September 7th, 2020.
Kenyon Campus Safety contacted the Sheriff’s Office and advised that they had located a jar of suspected marijuana. The jar was collected and placed into evidence for destruction on September 7th, 2020.
Michael Butcher was arrested on an outstanding warrant on September 6th, 2020.
A Complainant advised that someone had her brown RUMKE trashcan during the dates of August 23rd, and August 28th. The Complainant advised that RUMKE needed a report on file for reimbursement.
A Deputy was dispatched to Cleveland Avenue in Centerburg on a disturbance. Billy Brown, of Centerburg, was arrested for disorderly conduct and was transported to the Knox County Jail on September 6th, 2020.
Deputies were dispatched to Weber Road on the report of a suspicious vehicle. The caller said that the vehicle was along the road and it appeared that one of the occupants was passed out. Upon arriving and speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, it was discovered that one occupant had an outstanding warrant. Upon further investigation and a probable cause search of the vehicle, drugs, and evidence of drug trafficking was seized. Raymond Atkins, of Youngstown, was arrested on an outstanding warrant, possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs on September 6th, 2020.
A Complainant called to report that he located a bullet hole and bullet inside his recreation vehicle. A Deputy responded and made contact with the complainant. The round was collected and photographs were taken for documentation on September 5th, 2020.
