A representative of the Knox County Fair Board contacted the Sheriff’s Office about an abandoned vehicle on the Fairgrounds. The Fair Board advised that they wanted the vehicle removed from the property due to the upcoming fair week. Deputies advised that there would be a four-hour wait placed on the vehicle before being towed. At 6:00 AM July 23rd, 2020 Deputies checked the fairgrounds to see if the vehicle had been removed. The vehicle was still there and at that time the vehicle was towed from the area by On the Spot Towing.

Deputies were dispatched to a resident on Bridge Street in Howard on a possible vandalism. The Complainant stated that at approximately 4:00 AM someone damaged a window to their residence and wanted to file a report about the incident. The incident occurred on July 23rd, 2020.

Sarah Maynard, of Mount Vernon, was issued a summons for assault on July 23rd, 2020.

A Complainant wanted to make out a report for fraud. She advised that her social security number was used to fraud her of her stimulus check. The complainant advised that the Internal Revenue Service had informed her of the incident. The incident was reported on July 22nd, 2020.
