Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Jul 22, 2020

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for multiple equipment violations. During the traffic stop investigation, consent to search was given by the driver of the vehicle. The right rear passenger admitted to having a meth pipe. During the search, a bottle of pills were located in the center console that belongs to another person that was not inside the vehicle. The meth bowl was located inside a purse located on the floorboard of the right rear passenger where the suspect was sitting. The driver of the vehicle, Amanda Stouse, was given a traffic citation warning for three equipment violations and the right rear passenger, Franki Strouse of Mount Vernon, was given a summons in lieu of arrest citation for possession of drug paraphernalia on July 22nd, 2020.
