Deputies were dispatched to a business alarm at the Howard Hilton. Upon arrival, forced entry was found into the business. The building was cleared and no suspects were located on the premises. Video surveillance showed two individuals pry open the door and attempt to remover the safe and cash register on July 2nd, 2020.

A Complainant advised that she has had a vehicle parked in her driveway for approximately five weeks. Contact with the owner was attempted but unsuccessful. The vehicle was impounded at Blubaugh Body and Frame with proof of ownership for release on July 2nd, 2020.

A Complainant reported that her neighbor was violating a protection order put in place in June. Law Enforcement arrived and gathered information and pictures to be sent to the City Law Director for review. When contact was made with Jonathan Hall, of Centerburg, he was in direct violation of the protection order and was placed under arrest on July 2nd, 2020.

Deputies were dispatched to a business alarm at Shelli’s Shack in Bladensburg. Damage to the door was located and two suspects were seen on surveillance attempting to pry open the door. Evidence was collected at the scene on July 3rd, 2020.

A Complainant advised that three females and three males were actively fighting. The Complainant advised that someone yelled to call the cops and another person was yelling about someone hitting their wife. Under investigation, it was discovered that the suspect hit and strangled his wife. Witness statements and photographs were collected. Paul Steele, of Centerburg, was arrested for domestic violence and assault on July 3rd, 2020.
