Greetings. Here’s the EK High School graduation plan approved by the Knox Public Health Commissioner for June 27th, 2020. We will follow this plan rain or shine.
1. 10:15 a.m. Students arrive at the football field wearing masks, caps, gowns at which time they will be directed to an assigned individual area with a minimum of 6’ radius in all directions.
2. Students need to bring your diploma with you if you have already received it and turn it into Ms. Whitesel.
3. Each family will remain in their car until their student exits the football field gate.
4. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance and exit of the football field.
5. 10:30 The graduate will approach the main football entrance when his/her name is called to retrieve diploma, remove mask if desired, and get their picture taken with Principal Keesee.
6. The graduate’s family may join the student at that time for the senior lap around campus.
7. The graduate exits the football entrance gate for senior lap walking up the hill past the baseball/softball fields, once around the track, back down the hill then turn right onto the front sidewalk of the west end of the Elementary building, then follow the west driveway to where family’s vehicle is parked.
8. The graduate and family then departs the campus.
