Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Jun 15, 2020

Jamie Colon Jr., of Mount Vernon, was arrested for domestic violence and use of weapons while intoxicated on June 14th, 2020.

Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Mishey Road and Gilmore road on a possible disabled vehicle. A Complainant advised that there was a red and white truck sitting in the intersection and it was running but was unsure if anyone was inside the vehicle. The Complainant then advised that she could see a male individual slumped over in the driver’s seat passed out. Deputies arrived on the scene and determined that the male individual, Lance Roberts of Bellville, was driving under the influence and attempted to have him perform standard field sobriety tests. Roberts refused all SFST’s and was placed under arrest and transported to the Knox County Jail on June 14th, 2020.

A Complainant reported that unknown person(s) removed change from a vehicle sometime overnight on June 13th, 2020.

A Complainant wanted to report an incident that took place on June 12th, 2020 at his residence on Leroy Street in Mount Vernon. The Complainant stated that between 10 PM on June 12th, 2020, and 9 AM on June 13th, 2020 someone entered his unlocked sunroom and took a female black rabbit.

Deputies were dispatched to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office for a disturbance in the parking lot. Deputies monitoring surveillance cameras witnessed a male urinating on a Knox County Sheriff’s Office Vehicle. Contact was made with an intoxicated male in the parking lot. Ryan Glass, of Mount Vernon, admitted to walking to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office while intoxicated and urinating on the vehicle. Glass was arrested for disorderly conduct on June 13th, 2020.
