A vehicle was stopped for a speed violation on By-Pass Road. The driver, Justin Devore of Newark, was driving while suspended and also in possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia. Devore was given citations for the violations and the vehicle was impounded on June 9th, 2020.

A Deputy was dispatched to East Main Street in Centerburg on a possible domestic violence. The caller, Michael Hall of Mount Vernon, was on the front porch and advised that he was on parole and called because he didn’t want to get in trouble. He said that he and his girlfriend had gotten into a verbal argument. The girlfriend also said that it was only a verbal argument. Hall was then arrested on a warrant issued out of Knox County on an incident between the two from a previous event. Hall was transported to the Knox County Jail on June 8th, 2020.

Knox County Deputies assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a hit-skip accident. One of the suspects, Cole Shoemaker of Mount Vernon, left the scene and was located and charged with criminal damaging as he damaged private property while trying to elude law enforcement on June 8th, 2020.

A Complainant advised that a resident at the group home had cut him with a bolt. Pictures were taken, evidence and statements were collected. A summons in lieu of arrest was issued to Kelly Gibson of Centerburg.

A Complainant reported that a vehicle was left on their rental property and the former renters had moved out. No registered owner cold be found or located therefore, the vehicle was towed from the property on June 8th, 2020.
