A traffic stop was conducted on Coshocton Road near Upper Gilchrist Road. During the investigation, it was found that alcohol and drugs impaired the operator of the vehicle, Michael Hart of Newark. During the pat-down, a pistol was found concealed under Hart’s shirt and in his waistband. Hart was detained and the pistol was removed from his person and secured in the cruiser. during the search of the vehicle, marijuana THC oil and marijuana drug paraphernalia were found and seized. Standard field sobriety tests were conducted. Michael Hart was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and using weapons while intoxicated. Hart was issued two minor misdemeanor citations for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia on June 5th, 2020.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop investigation, marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle. Michael Byrne, of Coshocton, was issued minor misdemeanor citations on June 5th, 2020.
