This event is run by the Delaware, Knox, Marion, and Morrow Solid Waste District. If you were spring cleaning during the Stay at Home order and found some hazardous waste or old paint you would like to get rid of, this is a great opportunity!
Also, here is some important information about the event:
- All hazardous waste and paint must be loaded in the trunk, bed of a truck or the very back of an SUV. Material will not be unloaded from the backseat of vehicles.
- Participants must stay in their vehicles. If you need to move material out of your backseat you will be asked to pull out of line to do so prior to getting to the unloading point.
- Containers will not be returned to participants once emptied. This includes gas cans.
- There will be a strict limit of 10 cans of latex paint. Latex paint can easily be dried in the can. Once solidified, it can be placed in the trash with the lid off.
