Good afternoon everyone. I have seen rumors and posts stating that the Station Break was going to open June 1st. I wanted to clarify what is being said.
The onsite meal program will not be opening on June 1st. The date has not been decided and will be discussed at the next board meeting.
I know everyone is excited about getting back together but we have to do it safely and smart. The Station Break works with the most vulnerable community members and we have to consider all seniors and what’s best for the health and safety of each and every one of you and also the health and safety of the staff.
With the restaurant’s opening and more people are getting out we need to see how things go before we get the vulnerable population together again.
When we do reopen there will be some changes in order to meet the guidelines the governor has set and the health and safety of our clients. Once that has been approved by the board I will send that information out.
I appreciate the patience each and every one of you has shown. And I understand the need to be back with your friends and community. I to can’t wait until we can all be together again. But I need you to have patience a little longer. We will get through this.
