High Water in Central Ohio

As of 10 AM Friday, March 20, numerous routes are closed throughout Central Ohio due to high water from the heavy rain overnight.

In addition to the closures below, other routes may have lanes that are restricted due to high water. Motorists are reminded to never drive through flooded roadways, the water may be deeper than it looks. Roads will reopen to traffic once the water recedes.

 

FRANKLIN COUNTY

Interstate 70 (East Side) – NEW The ramp from I-70 east to I-270 north is closed.

Interstate 270 (North Side) – NEW The ramp from I-270 west to US 23 north is closed.

Interstate 71 (South Side) – I-71 south is closed between I-70 and I-270, along with ramps from Greenlawn Ave. and SR 104 to I-71 south. Additionally, I-71 north is closed at I-270.

Interstate 270 (South Side) – The ramp from I-270 east to I-71 south is closed.

State Route 104 (South Side) – SR 104 closed between Stringtown Road and I-71.

 

MADISON COUNTY

State Route 142 – SR 142 is closed in both directions south of I-70.

 

PICKAWAY COUNTY

State Route 752 – SR 752 is closed east of US 23.

LICKING COUNTY

State Route 79 – SR 79 is closed in both directions between Rheinhart and Heath.

State Route 661 – SR 661 is closed between Dry Creek and Sportsman Club

 

PERRY COUNTY

State Route 204 – SR 204 is closed in both directions between SR 668 and SR 757.

 

COSHOCTON COUNTY

State Route 715 – SR 715 closed between US 36 in Knox Co. and US 36 in Coshocton Co.

State Route 16 – SR 16 is closed between SR 60 and Conesville.

 

GUERNSEY COUNTY

State Route 821 – SR 821 is closed between SR 313 and SR 146.

State Route 146 – SR 146 is closed at Hickle Rd. and between SR 821 and Pleasant Rd.
