Cancellations and Postponements of Main Street Events

Governor Mike DeWine issued a Press Release last Thursday, March 12, banning gatherings of 100 or more people. You can read that release by clicking here.

After contacting the Main Street Mount Vernon board, we decided to carefully monitor the situation in order to make the best decision for the organization and for Downtown Mount Vernon. After the passing of the weekend, it has been decided to cancel or postpone several upcoming events. These events include:

Ladies Night Out scheduled for Friday, April 17th has been CANCELLED.

The Main Street Mount Vernon 2019 Annual Awards DinnerĀ and Taste of Knox scheduled forĀ Saturday, April 25, has been POSTPONED. The new date is TBD.

If you have purchased seats or sponsorships already, these will still be valid once the new date is determined.

The Prohibition Pub Crawl scheduled for Friday, May 15 has been POSTPONED. The new date is TBD.
