Deputies were dispatched to Gambier Road on an injured deer in the roadway. The deer was located and dispatched safely on February 24th, 2020.

A complainant advised that Tracey Jacquet, of Mount Vernon, was acting disorderly in a care home by yelling and screaming at a resident. Jacquet was issued a citation on February 22nd, 2020.

A victim, reported that their mailbox had been destroyed between 7:00 AM February 20, 2020, and 6:45 PM February 21st, 2020 by an unknown person(s).

A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office in reference to her C-pap machine being missing on February 23rd, 2020.

Deputies were dispatched to Butcher Road in Centerburg on a domestic disturbance. While en-route to the location, Deputies were advised that a firearm had been discharged during the disturbance. Wesley Shankland III, of Mount Vernon, was given a summons in lieu of arrest and Rose Shankland, of Westerville, was charged with domestic violence and discharging a firearm while under the influence of alcohol. The incident occurred on February 22nd, 2020.
