On 1/25/2020 at approximately 10:00 a.m. deputies were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress at a construction site on Martinsburg Road south of Martinsburg. Arriving deputies discovered a male and female at the location. During the investigation, deputies discovered two handguns, a stolen trailer and a stolen side by side ATV. Officers are still working to discover if additional tools and property that were recovered are also stolen.
Thanks to a call from an alert neighbor, responding deputies were able to arrest Ryan C. Bowen age 24, from Thornville Ohio and Christi J. McCarty age 18, from Columbus Ohio. The case remains under investigation.
