Ohio Supreme Court Declines to Hear Appeals of Knox County Convictions

Today, the Ohio Supreme Court announced it would not accept the appeal of Frank L. Lewis, who was convicted of aggravated possession of drugs in 2019. Lewis’ conviction was affirmed by the Court of Appeals in September. Lewis is currently serving a 30-month sentence in Pickaway Correctional Institution.

On December 31, the Supreme Court decided not to accept jurisdiction over the appeal of Kevin Remillard, who was convicted of murder by a Knox County jury in July 2018. The Court of Appeals affirmed Remillard’s conviction in August of 2019. He is serving a sentence of 21 years to life in Noble Correctional Institution.
