CARPENTERS
…Starting Pay Rate: $15 – $18/hr (based on skill and experience)
…Shift: Mon – Fri, 7a – 7:30p, Sat 7a – 5:30p, and occasional Sun, to meet tight deadlines
BOTH ROLES
…Overtime (actual hrs exceeding 40/week) paid at 1.5X base pay rate (yes, $22.50 – $30/hr for OT hours)
…Temp-to-Hire PLUS future advancement opportunities after conversion to Regular status
Our client – a family-owned manufacturer of custom truck, trailer and rolling stock solutions – seeks experienced (i) MIG WELDERS and (ii) CARPENTERS to help meet solid demand from mobile-equipment customers for Broadcasting, Marketing, Command Center, Medical, Retail and Food uses.
WELDERS Requirements:
…Welding (MIG) Experience with aluminum and/or steel
…Ability to work up to 10 hrs/day, while on your feet often
…Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams and work instructions
…Skill in setting up welding equipment, workstations and fixtures
…Ability to select and move materials manually (up to 50 lbs) and with materials handling equipment
…Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for quality inspections
WELDERS Preferences:
…6-months (or more) of MIG Welding experience, esp with aluminum and steel
…Assembly / fabrication / inspection experience with precision welded components
CARPENTERS Requirements:
…Construction, Cabinet Building and/or Finish Carpentry experience
…Ability to work up to 12 hrs/day, while on your feet often
…Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams and work instructions
