Wages: $13 – $16/hr (depending upon skills, experience)

We are recruiting experienced, diligent and dedicated Industrial Painters to ensure that our client’s components come out of the paint coating process looking terrific enough to be admired by all.

Our client’s highly-trained workforce designs, builds and installs complex systems that move raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods around factories and warehouses for some of the most important sectors of the industrial economy. And the results of your diligent efforts as an Industrial Painter will help keep those products looking amazing!
Skills and Must-Have Attributes:
— 1-3 years of Industrial Painting Experience (adept at selecting, modifying, preparing and applying oil-based wet spray coatings in a variety of temperature and humidity settings)
— Accurately Reads, Analyzes and Interprets Blueprints / Drawings (gather materials and tools; determine and convert measurements; make machine and workpiece adjustments)
— Experience Setting-up, Operating and Maintaining Paint Coating Equipment (capably and consistently conducts efficient and effective production)
— High Level of Attention-to-Detail and Focus-on-Accuracy (conduct changeover / set-up plus in-process and final inspections to deliver quality output)
— Team-first Attitude that Fully Supports Throughput, Quality, Safety and Learning Goals
— Mental Enthusiasm and Physical Stamina to Maintain Output in a Fast-paced Environment
— High School Diploma or GED, plus 1-2 Years Experience or Vocational School Training in Industrial Painting
TASKS
Paint and apply finishing coats to in accordance to blueprints and/or customer specifications.
Set-up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance to safety procedures.
Record and report working hours and material usage.
Maintain clean work areas, tool repair, and equipment inventory.
Inspect paint jobs and materials, adjusting colors and fixing defects.
