Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Jan 16, 2020

Roger Brown, of Mount Vernon, was arrested and charged with two counts of violation of a protection order on January 2nd, 2020.
An abandoned vehicle was left parked in a driveway after the homeowner told the owner to leave the property. A 4-hour hold was placed on the vehicle and that time had ended but the vehicle was still on the property. The vehicle was towed from the scene by On the Spot Towing on January 15th, 2020.
A complainant reported that person(s) unknown had stolen his identity and opened several credit applications on January 15th, 2020.
A complainant reported that a fraudulent student loan company went out of business after she made years of loan payments on January 14th, 2020.
