Once the holidays are over and your decorations come down, consider recycling your tree instead of throwing it away! One easy and very beneficial way to recycle your tree is to cut it up and compost it. A composted tree will enrich your soil with nutrients and create a nice topsoil base come spring. The needles can also be used to cover your garden beds and help protect plants and small critters from the cold.
