Beginning on Dec. 1st, there will be a change in how personal mail is sent to inmates at the Knox County Jail. The changes are in response to attempts to smuggle contraband inside of envelopes and cards. Mail will be sent to an offsite location. The contents are scanned, and available for viewing by the inmate on kiosks located in the dorms. All mail must be addressed as shown.
