Mount Vernon Avenue Closure Next Week

Beginning Monday, November 4, Mount Vernon Avenue will be closed intermittently to through traffic at the bridge over the Kokosing River so that bridge beams can be set.

  • Work will take place starting around noon each day
  • Four beams will be set each day, with each closure estimated to be 30-45 minutes
  • Estimated completion: Wednesday, November 6, weather permitting
  • Detour: SR 13(S. Main St./S. Gay St.) to SR 229 (E. Gambier St.)
