Foundation for KCH to Host Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John

The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital will host the Face2Face: Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John at 7 PM on Saturday, November 2 at the Memorial Theater in Mount Vernon.

Guests are invited to enjoy a full evening of dynamic performances by Mike Santoro as Billy Joel and Ronnie Smith as Elton John.

Mike Santoro was born and raised in Levittown, NY, like Joel himself, and not only looks the part but has the Piano Man’s chops, vocal prowess, and stage presence.  Backed by his band, The Stranger, Santoro sings classics like “Uptown Girl” and “Only the Good Die Young.”

Ronnie Smith’s performance as Elton John is equally impressive and includes classic hits like “Rocket Man (I Think It’s Going to Be a Long, Long Time),” “Crocodile Rock,” and “Bennie and the Jets.”

To end the night, the two tribute artists will play face-to-face on the same stage, each performer conjuring up his beloved songster in both sight and sound. This is live entertainment at its best.

Cocktails will be available in Veteran’s Hall in the Memorial Building before the show. Doors will open at 5:30 PM.

Tickets are available at www.FoundationKCH.org/face2face.

All proceeds will benefit the Foundation for Knox Community Hospital which is currently raising funds for the capital building campaign.
