Food for the Hungry (FFTH) 2019 will soon be here (November 1 – December 7) and Fredericktown Interchurch is preparing for this annual event. 2019 FFTH will be a little different in Fredericktown this year; we are calling the event “Money for the Hungry” with good reason! If you haven’t heard, Interchurch purchased our building this past summer and renovations will start mid-November. While that is great news for us, it does present a challenge. Our Food Pantry will be considerably smaller for a few months while inside remodeling is taking place. We will only be able to accept a few food donations, such as Food for Fines from the Library, due to limited storage space during the remodeling. We suggest a monetary donation to be used when our new and improved, LARGER Food Pantry is complete so we can stock the shelves. We are sorry for the inconvenience but the outcome will be wonderful and is much needed!
Donations for Food for the Hungry will be accepted at Fredericktown Library during their Food for Fines event and at Fredericktown Interchurch starting November 1 through December 7. Checks should be made out to Fredericktown Interchurch and be dropped off at Interchurch or mailed to PO Box 301, Fredericktown OH 43019.
