National Fire Prevention Week

The Eastern Knox County Joint Fire District joins Fire Departments across the country to celebrate National Fire Prevention Week, October 6 through October 12, 2019. This week commemorates the anniversary of “The Great Chicago Fire of 1871” that killed more than 250 people, left 100,000 homeless, destroyed more than 17,400 structures and burned more than 2,000 acres in 27 hours. We will be kicking FPW off on Sunday, October 6th with our annual Chicken BBQ Dinner. We will start serving at 11 am till we are out. The cost will be a donation. We will have a bouncy house for the kids. Stay Safe!
