Quilts For Navajo Children

When Station Break member Bonnie W. heard that The Station Break’s activity coordinator (Krista DeWitt) is going on a mission trip to an Arizona Navajo Indian Reservation in October, she immediately began making small quilts for the children in a school on the reservation. The items in this picture (including 24 quilts) were boxed up and put on a truck headed from Ohio to Arizona last week. Krista will distribute them to the young students when she is there in October. Now Bonnie is working to make sure all 50 students in the school get a quilt of their own. A special thanks to Kay S., Jeannie C.W. and Carol W. for pitching in and helping Bonnie meet her tight deadline last week!
