A complainant advised that sometime within the last two weeks, someone threw a rock into a window at their residence. A report was taken on August 27th, 2019.

Leo Bailey, of Mount Vernon, was arrested for domestic violence and aggravated menacing on August 29th, 2019.

Courtney Stoutenburg, of Mount Vernon, was arrested for assault and domestic violence on August 28th, 2019.

A complainant called and advised that there was an injured deer along the side of Vernon View Drive. Deputies responded to the area and located the deer. A Deputy dispatched the deer with his department-issued sidearm on August 28th, 2019.

A complainant advised that her Yamaha 660 ATV was stolen from a friend’s residence on August 26th, 2019.

A complainant advised dispatch that an unknown individual claiming to be from the social security office told her that she needed to buy $5000 worth of gift cards and then send pictures of them to a phone number that they provided. The complainant did so and then was advised by a Walmart employee that there was a similar scam that had been happening. The event occurred on August 28th, 2019.

A victim advised that someone had broken into his camper during the period of August 26 through August 28th, 2019.

A complainant advised that someone had taken the front door off of a building at the Howard Youth League’s concession stand and taken items on August 28th, 2019.
