A big thank you to Kokosing Construction and their retirees and staff for all their hard work on the restoration of the public square at no cost to the taxpayers. They landscaped, cleaned the shingles on the gazebo, pressure washed and painted the entire gazebo, and replaced the fluorescent gazebo lighting with new LED lighting.
Kokosing Construction also recently sandblasted and painted the old GAR cannon which sits on the southeast corner of the square at the Veterans Memorial. The improvements enhance the community and make the square look great!
