Project Wild

Project WILD involves young people and wildlife, a proven formula for generating interest and participation. It is a supplementary education program emphasizing awareness, appreciation, and understanding of wildlife and natural resources. The program teaches young people how to think about wildlife, their needs and importance, and their relationships to people and the environment.

Because of the important mission of Project WILD, activity guides are available to educators free to low cost when they attend a workshop.

Additionally, Wildlife Education grants are available to local schools, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other school-oriented facilities to support wildlife-related education projects and programs.

The grants provide funding for materials, equipment, and activities that are otherwise unaffordable. Grants support habitat improvement on the organization grounds, materials to support wildlife-related research and programs, field trips, and professional development.
