…A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN WILL AFFECT KNOX COUNTY…

At 901 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Centerburg, or
10 miles southwest of Mount Vernon, moving northeast at 20 mph.

Locations impacted include…
Mount Vernon, Fredericktown, Gambier, Centerburg, Danville,
Waterford, Martinsburg, Gann, North Liberty and Bladensburg.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. One to one and a half inches of rain can be
expected through 11 PM EDT. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle
