Safe Driving for Mature Drivers Course

The Safe Communities Coalition will host a 2 day Safe Driving for Mature Drivers course. The course will take place at the Station Break Senior Citizens Center, 160 Howard St., Mount Vernon. Part 1 of the course will take place on Mon., June 24. Part 2 of the course will take place on Wed., June 26. Both classes will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided by the Station Break to Knox County residents (age 60+) for a $3 suggested donation. Participants who are not a Knox County resident will be provided lunch for $6.
The safe driving course is presented by AAA and is state certified which will enable attendees to get a discount if offered by their auto insurance provider. There is a $5 charge for the two-day course.
